How to get started in travians for the first few days!

So you start out on a island not far away from the main land travians, but you need to use a boat to get there. Luckily there is a boat but, the owner Elix won't let yo use it unlit you are ready.

First talk to Elix, the guy with that parrot on his shoulders. He will tell you to chop wood and/or get clay, Simple Click on the patch os trees or the patches of red clay.

The tree you can chop is right at the top of the path, and the path for the clay is right under Elix.

Once you have gotten enough reasourses, (5) You can return to Elix and he will give you another task. This time you have to go and play a minigame in the tavern. The tavern is The house, the farthest away from Elix, press on it to "enter house" and then press on the chess board and play the game against the bank.

once you have one or lost, go back to Elix and he will tell you about Soacial Points, that i will explain later to, and he will also tell you that he needs you to help him decorate his house. Simply go to his house,

Find the flashing button near the top of the screen that looks like this:

then press on

And select a piece of furniture, (pick the cheapest) and drag it into his house. know, return to elix and he should say something like

Know finally you can go and use the boat, press on the boat that looks like this

So know you find your self in a different place! A few things are similar, you have your uncles house, witch he will give to you (yea) and there is a tree and clay to chop and dig, but there is also wheat & ore but, i will get to that later!

Before i go on and tell you how to do the quests, i would like to tell you that i will explain many more things like SP, OP, EX, AP etc, at the bottom of this, so don't loose this page! So, Talk to your uncle until he recognizes you and tells you that the house is yours now. You should follow this conversation with attention, because it's your first introduction to the storyline of the game. If you talk about everything with your uncle, he will assign you your first tasks:

1. The first task is to find and take care of a robber that stole 3 gold from your uncle. You receive a knife and need to beat the robber who is located to your east. Afterwards talk to your uncle Horatio again

2. Tombo is the village guard who carries a long spear in his right hand, and you can see him in the lower-right corner of the screen. So, get going and talk to him!

3. If you haven't clicked on the signpost before you start talking to Tombo, he will advise you to read the game instructions (you can find them under the little "i" beside your inventory too). A look at the FAQ won't hurt you either. But now back the regards we have to give to Tombo.

4. Before Tombo allows you to enter the village, he will give you a quest too: either you bring him 10 resources of the same kind (e.g. 10 wood) or you have to find a friend to show your trustworthiness.

5. After managing to enter the village, talk to your uncle Horatio again. He is hungry now and demands a loaf of bread from you. Therefore you'll need grain, which you mill in the village. Take the flour to bake a bread and bring this back to Horatio.

6. Your next quest will be to learn trading in the NPC-market. To do so, go back to the village and leave towards the south. The building with a green striped roof (looking a bit like a tent) is the NPC-market where you should now sell a resource until your avatar proclaims "A good deal".

7. After you tell him about your first deal, your uncle won't give you any more quests for this moment. He wants you to come back later so you will have to entertain yourself a bit.

After a while, you will receive another quest! this is how you do it

Before you are considered worthy of inheriting your uncle's beloved travel pig, he will give you some more tasks.

1. First of all he wants you to become a respectable citizen and therefore you will have learn a profession. He sends you to the tax office behind the tavern where you must talk to the tax man. Then he tells you that the next resource you harvest will decide your profession. If you harvest grain, you'll be a farmer, if you dig clay, you will be a clay digger, if you chop wood, you'll be a woodcutter and if you mine ore you'll be a miner. After chosing a profession and reporting to your uncle, the travel pig will follow you.

So choosing a occupation, it is hard but, it will determine the rest of the game!

I chose a Wood cutter, my brother chose a to be a farmer.

How to choose?

Well, Being a farmer is nice, you can eat your own bread instead of buying it. but, "I" think a wood cutter is the one to choose. Basically & simply because yo can turn wood into wooden boards or into coal. And coal goes for more than any other secondary reasourses. But, YOU choose!

[b] how to get money fast![/b]

first, (it doesn't matter what occupation you have)

Cut 100 wood, then turn about 50 into coal, Sell 5o wood in the play-market @ 34 & Sell the 50 Coal @ 94. [b] Click HERE for instructions on house to Sell in the player market[/b]

Once people have bought all you stuff, Go to the tool trader, it is located South-East of the player market, go into the hut, and buy a tool,

Know with the tool, you can harvest allot more reasourses at once, my first tool i got, i could shot like 30 wood in one chop! and if you chose a occupation like a ore miner, you could get 30 ore in one mining trip!

Know you can sell more and get richer!

[b]AP, OP, SP[/b]

This is pretty much a little bit of a cycle.

First, you sleep in a bed, While you sleep, you get OP (occupation points) you can see how much you have by looking in the bottom left corner of your screen, By a whitee number, it will look something like this : 87|67 The FIRST number is OP, the second is AP.

So while you sleep you get OP, when you wake up, you can go & collect reasourses (chopping wood, Digging clay etc,) And every time you collect reasourses you get AP(action points) And you can use AP, by playing minigames or washing dishes,

so, lets say you want to play some minigames(in the tavern and then select the chess board) So you are playing minigames, you win/loose, once the game is done you will see your SP(social points)! you can see you may social points you get on the top of the screen, it is represented Beside a yellow star

So know how have SP, you can use SP by buying stuff in your house. LIke a better bed, (the better the bed the more OP you get per house of sleeping)!!! so, you get a better bed, you get more OP and the cycle goes all over again.

But, of course you don't have to spend the SP you earn on a bed! you can pend it on anything in the house editor.

So to get to house editor, go to your house, go in your house and select the button

Then you can look through all the decorations you can get, And drag them onto your screen! (you get more stuff as you lv up!)

Playing MiniGames - in the tavern, select the chess board

Washing dishes - talk to the guy in the taverns

Taking baths & Eating- I will explain

And there are a few thing that give you a little little bit of SP like fighting and picking herbs, but, that is for later on.

I like SP! It is a really fun part of the game! decorating your house and inviting friends over, and going to friends house to take a bath or eating…..…..
